Compared to the standard PX-280, the new PX-480’s larger heat storage and contact area improve productivity.
• This lead-free soldering iron is small and lightweight, and has excellent heat recovery.
• Sleep/Shutdown functions extend the life of the soldering tip and prevent the hassle of unplugging the iron.
Press and hold the DOWN key for one second continuously to use the Sleep function manually during operation.
You can exit SLEEP mode by moving the handle.
SLEEP sensitivity range from 1 to 10. (Default value: 3) Lower value = more sensitive output from sleep mode.
When the iron is not used for the preset time, it will automatically turn off.
To use the iron again after turning it off, press any key; or unplug and reconnect the power cord.
◦ The power-off time can be set.
Shut-off start time (SUt): default setting 60 minutes (range: 0~999)
When the SUt value is set to 0, the power-off function is turned off.
You can quickly confirm the set temperature by the digital display.
The temperature can be set in 1°C increments from 200°C to 500°C with the UP key and DOWN key.
